India Set to Compete in the Physical Disabled Cricket Champions Trophy 2025

New Delhi, Dec 25 (NationPress) The Disabled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) officially declared on Wednesday that India will participate in the Physical Disabled Cricket Champions Trophy 2025, which is scheduled to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from January 12 to January 21, 2025. This esteemed tournament will feature cricketing powerhouses from India, England, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.
The potential squad is set to kick off its preparations with a rigorous training camp in Jaipur during the first week of January, after which the final team will be announced.
Expressing his views on the event, Ravi Chauhan, General Secretary of DCCI, remarked, “India’s involvement in the Champions Trophy 2025 is a moment of pride for the entire nation. This distinguished tournament in Colombo not only provides a stage for our athletes to demonstrate their skills but also emphasizes the significance of inclusivity within sports. The DCCI is dedicated to creating opportunities for athletes with disabilities, and this event marks another stride towards establishing new standards in the cricketing arena. I extend my best wishes to all the teams participating in this tournament.”
