New Delhi, May 1 (NationPress) Servotech Sports proudly introduced the Dream League of India, a distinctive Tennis-ball Cricket League, during an impressive ceremony held on Thursday. This league caters to both juniors (ages 13–18) and seniors (ages 18+), featuring six franchises competing in each division.
Notably, Bollywood star Sonu Sood has taken on the role of League Commissioner for the Dream League of India. Joining him is Salim Merchant, a celebrated music director and singer, among the six celebrity ambassadors of the league, as announced by the organizers.
Servotech Sports is dedicated to uncovering exceptional grassroots talent, with the top players having the opportunity to represent India on the international stage in tennis cricket.
To participate in the Dream League of India, interested players can register via the league's official website or the Starzpit App for open trials taking place nationwide in various districts, overseen by over 1,500 certified coaches.
From these trials, 860 junior and 860 senior players will be selected for the DLI auction, where six franchises in each category will draft their teams. Players chosen from the trials will enter the Dream League of India auction.
Outstanding performers may be scouted by selectors from the International Tennis Cricket Federation (ITCF) and the Tennis Cricket Association of India (TCAI) to represent Team India in tennis cricket.
Furthermore, players who are not drafted will have the chance to participate in the largest Inter-Zonal Tournament in the country, with zonal champions progressing to the All-Zonal Championship. The victorious team will compete against the Season 1 Franchise Champion in the Season 2 opener, guaranteeing every player a route to recognition and national honor.
During the launch of DLI, Rishabh Bhatia, Director of Servotech Sports, stated, "At Servotech Sports, we are devoted to turning dreams into reality. The Dream League of India embodies our commitment to grassroots empowerment and our desire to see India excel in new sports domains. Every young athlete from every locality now has a genuine opportunity to don the Tennis cricket ball India jersey."
On this occasion, Sonu Sood, League Commissioner, remarked, "Dreams are meant to be chased — and realized. The Dream League of India is not merely a sports event; it’s about empowering thousands of young athletes across India. I am honored to be part of a movement that will inspire, elevate, and reshape the sports landscape."
