Edoardo Bove of Fiorentina Alert and Responsive Following Match Collapse

New Delhi, Dec 2 (NationPress) ACF Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove, who suffered a collapse during the match against Inter Milan on Sunday, is now awake, alert, and oriented, as per a statement released by the club.
According to the announcement, "ACF Fiorentina informs that, based on the positive updates received today and following a video call initiated by Edoardo with his teammates, the Coach, and the technical staff at Viola Park, the team has resolved to return to the field immediately to prepare for the upcoming match against Empoli on Wednesday.
The club's statement further noted that President Commisso is in continuous communication with the Viola Management and Edoardo's family, having received reassuring feedback about his health condition from his father." Initial cardiological and neurological evaluations have indicated that there is no significant damage to his central nervous system or cardiorespiratory functions.
The match against Inter Milan was suspended after an initial delay due to the incident, which will be rescheduled for a later date. Upon receiving the news about Bove's condition, Fiorentina players visited him at the hospital and subsequently returned to training. "He communicated with his family, the Viola management, the coach, and his teammates, who rushed to see him as soon as they learned of the good news. Additional tests will be conducted in the coming days to determine the causes of the serious incident that occurred yesterday," the statement concluded.
The incident unfolded just 15 minutes into the game when players from Fiorentina and Inter were involved in a dispute regarding Lautaro Martinez's goal, which was ultimately disallowed.
Attention quickly shifted to Bove, who had collapsed to the ground while tying his shoelaces, as the players debated whether the ball had gone out of play leading up to the goal.
