Will the Federation Cup Bring a New Era of Tennis Cricket from June 4 in Panipat?

Panipat, June 1 (NationPress) The sixth edition of the Tennis Cricket Federation Cup is set to take place from June 4 to June 6, 2025, right here in Panipat. A total of 12 teams from various parts of the country will compete in this exciting tournament, held in a day-night format.

This prestigious event is being organized by the Tennis Cricket Association of India (TCAI), which is a member of the International Tennis Cricket Federation (ITCF), and is supported by the Dream League of India (DLI). Players for the Indian team, which will compete in the upcoming International Tennis Cricket series against Russia and Poland, will be selected from the Federation Cup.

Kanhiya Gurjar, the president of TCAI, expressed gratitude towards the DLI for sponsoring the tournament, stating, "Their support will be crucial in advancing the future of tennis cricket. With their backing, we aim to enhance the professionalism and recognition of this thrilling format, offering players increased opportunities and exposure."

The teams hailing from states such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Goa, Bihar, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Haryana, Rajasthan, Mumbai, and Madhya Pradesh will showcase their talent.

Chetanya Nanda, Chief Strategist at DLI, commented, "We are excited to sponsor the Federation Cup and eagerly anticipate the talent that will emerge. We are committed to the future of tennis cricket, and this tournament is a significant step toward nurturing the next generation of players."

Participants in the Dream League of India will have the chance to represent India in the Tennis Cricket Ball World Cup and Asia Cup.

Scouts will be closely monitoring the tournament, which will occur across the country, serving as a foundation for selecting players for the Tennis Cricket Ball World Cup and Asia Cup.

The Dream League of India will feature both junior (ages 13–18) and senior (ages 18+) categories, with six franchises competing in each.

In preparation for the Dream League of India, 860 junior and 860 senior players will be shortlisted for the auction, where franchises will choose their teams.

Players selected from fair trials will enter the Dream League of India auction, with top performers potentially being scouted by selectors from the International Tennis Cricket Federation (ITCF) to represent India on the global stage.
