Gurugram, April 4 (NationPress) The Global Indian Pravasi Kabaddi League (GI-PKL) has revealed the complete schedule for its upcoming tournament, set to kick off on April 18 in Gurugram.

The event will start with men's matches on the inaugural day, featuring the Tamil Lions facing the Punjabi Tigers in the first-ever GI-PKL match. The second game will showcase the Haryanvi Sharks battling the Telugu Panthers, followed by a matchup between the Marathi Vultures and Bhojpuri Leopards in the third game.

The women’s matches will commence on April 19, with the Marathi Falcons going against the Telugu Cheetahs in the opening bout. In the second match, the Punjabi Tigress will challenge the Bhojpuri Leopardess, while the Haryanvi Eagles take on the Tamil Lioness on Day 2.

The league stage is set to continue until April 27, leading into the knockout rounds. The men’s semi-finals are planned for April 28, followed by the women’s semi-finals on April 29.

The tournament will conclude with the grand finals for both the men’s and women’s divisions on April 30, where the champions of the inaugural GI-PKL season will be determined.
