The league kicked off with men's competitions on Friday and will span 13 days, culminating on April 30 at the Multipurpose Hall of Gurugram University.

In the first encounter, the Telugu Cheetahs exhibited dominance, overpowering the Marathi Falcons with a score of 42-28. With a staggering total of 24 raid points, two super raids, and six all-out points, they maintained control throughout the match.

Though the Marathi Falcons delivered three super tackles, they struggled to mount an effective offense. The balanced strategy and robust defense of the Cheetahs secured them a smooth victory in this opening match of the women's league.

In the second contest, the Punjabi Tigress triumphed with a decisive 41-21 victory against the Bhojpuri Leopardess. Their performance included 22 raid points and 13 tackle points, which showcased their dominance on both ends of the mat.
