Gurugram (Haryana), April 24 (NationPress) The Tamil Lions, Punjabi Tigers, and Marathi Vultures celebrated victories in the men's division of the ongoing Global Indian Pravasi Kabaddi League (GI-PKL) at Gurugram University on Thursday. The Marathi Vultures currently hold the top position in the points table with 13 points, closely trailed by Punjabi Tigers with 12, and Tamil Lions in third place with 10 points.

In the opening match on Thursday, Tamil Lions narrowly defeated Bhojpuri Leopards with a score of 35-33 in an exciting men's showdown. Although Bhojpuri led in tackle points with 15 and executed three Super Tackles, the Tamil Lions showcased remarkable raiding skills, including a crucial Super Raid, and held their composure in the final moments to clinch a two-point victory in a fiercely contested battle.

In the second match, the Punjabi Tigers exhibited a powerful performance, overcoming the Telugu Panthers with a score of 47-39 in a thrilling high-scoring affair. With 20 raid points and a solid 19 tackle points, the Tigers maintained control throughout the match.
