Gurugram, April 21 (NationPress) Bhojpuri Leopardess and Tamil Lioness achieved victories while Telugu Cheetahs and Punjabi Tigress ended their match in a tie on Monday during the ongoing Global Indian Pravasi Kabaddi League (GI-PKL) at Gurugram University.
The Global Indian Pravasi Kabaddi League (GI-PKL) kicked off on Friday and is set to run for 13 days, culminating in the finals scheduled for April 30 at the Multipurpose Hall of Gurugram University.
In the first match on Monday, Bhojpuri Leopardess triumphed over Haryanvi Eagles with a score of 37-26 in a dominant women’s contest. With 19 raid points, 13 tackle points, and four all-outs, the Leopardess controlled the match from the outset. The Haryanvi Eagles managed to score 17 raid points and 6 tackle points, but fell short, as Bhojpuri secured a decisive 11-point win.
