Glamorgan Part Ways with Head Coach Grant Bradburn Amid Misconduct Allegations

Cardiff, Dec 30 (NationPress) Grant Bradburn has been dismissed from his position as Glamorgan's head coach effective immediately due to a misconduct allegation from the independent Cricket Regulator. The club stated, "We have referred Bradburn to the independent body after receiving allegations of inappropriate behaviour and are confident that a fair and transparent process has been followed in this case. Glamorgan Cricket maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of discriminatory behaviour."

After concluding our internal investigation, it became evident that Bradburn’s role was untenable, and the club is now offering the necessary support to those impacted, as stated by the club.

Mark Rhydderch-Roberts, Chair of Glamorgan Cricket, mentioned, “At Glamorgan Cricket, we prioritize the well-being of our personnel and are providing support for those affected. We take great pride in our history of ensuring that everyone affiliated with the club feels respected, included, and treated justly.”

Bradburn's time at Glamorgan spanned just one season, during which he guided the team to triumph in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup in a rain-affected final at Trent Bridge in September. Despite this achievement, the team concluded the season in sixth place in both the second division of the County Championship and the T20 Blast South Group.

Bradburn joined Glamorgan in January with a three-year contract after a brief period as head coach of the Pakistan men's team. His connection with the PCB began in 2018 as an assistant coach, later evolving into the role of head of high-performance coaching in 2020.
