Ahmedabad, May 21 (NationPress) As the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 player auction approaches from May 31 to June 1, the Gujarat Giants, owned by Adani Sportsline, have executed key changes in their coaching staff to gear up for the upcoming season.
Jaivir Sharma has been appointed as the head coach, while Varinder Singh Sandhu assumes the role of assistant coach. This strategic shift is designed to forge a fearless, resilient, and title-contending team for the twelfth season.
With over three decades of coaching experience, Jaivir is a highly esteemed figure in the realm of Indian kabaddi. He boasts a championship-winning history and brings an extensive portfolio of tactical expertise to his leadership role.
Jaivir, who has been affiliated with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) since 1992, has played a pivotal role in the careers of numerous kabaddi players on both national and international stages. Under his mentorship, the Indian team has secured Gold medals at prestigious international competitions, including the Asian Games, Kabaddi World Cup, and several other significant tournaments.
