Guwahati, Dec 6 (NationPress) — Both Sanskar Saraswat and Mithun Manjunath achieved commendable victories in the semifinals of the Guwahati Masters BWF World Tour badminton tournament on Saturday, paving the way for an all-Indian championship showdown that ensures a gold medal for the host nation.

Emerging player Tanvi Sharma aims to contribute to the host's success by competing in the women's singles final on Sunday. She delivered an impressive performance by defeating the third seed Hina Akechi in straight games during the women's singles semifinal.

Sanskar showcased remarkable composure, outclassing Indonesia’s Dendi Triansyah with scores of 21-19, 21-19 in a match that spanned 39 minutes. Meanwhile, Mithun overcame compatriot Tushar Suveer with a score of 22-20, 21-8 in 42 minutes, securing his spot in the final.
