In the women's category, Tamil Nadu takes on Odisha and Hockey Haryana is pitted against their rivals Punjab in the semifinal rounds of the 1st Hockey India Masters Cup 2025 on Wednesday.

As the tournament transitions into its knockout phase, these teams are eager to secure their spots in the finals for both categories in this inaugural event.

The Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu, Hockey Association of Odisha, Hockey Haryana, and Hockey Punjab triumphed in their quarterfinal matches and now prepare to clash in the women's semifinal.

In the first women's quarterfinal on Tuesday, the Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu overcame Hockey Karnataka with a score of 3-1. Goals were scored by Chitra (18’), Rasna Suresh Babu (22’), and Saumya (39’), while Rohini MR (57’) managed a late consolation goal.
