The first encounter saw Hockey Karnataka triumph over Hockey Maharashtra with a staggering score of 12-0. Prema S. excelled as the leading scorer, netting four goals at 4’, 12’, 21’, and 44’. Additionally, Manasa K.P. made her mark with a hat-trick at 29’, 49’, and 51’, while Usha Vinaykumar contributed with two goals at 2’ and 22’.
Captain K.K. Krithika (32’), Josephine Lore Sequeira (35’), and Neelamma K.A. (37’) added one goal each to solidify the victory, marking their second consecutive win in the tournament.
