The USD 4,000,000 event adds two more marquee names to an already formidable field that includes defending champion Tommy Fleetwood, back-to-back Masters winner Rory McIlroy, and Major champion Justin Rose.

Key Additions to the Field

Hovland returns for his second appearance at the India Championship, having finished tied sixth on his debut last October. The 28-year-old Norwegian holds the distinction of being the first player from his country to win on both the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour, and is a three-time Ryder Cup representative — part of Europe's back-to-back victories in Rome in 2023 and New York in September 2025.

Fox, meanwhile, will be making his professional debut in India. The New Zealander won twice on the PGA Tour in 2025 and is currently defending his RBC Canadian Open title. He won the 2022 Seve Ballesteros Award, voted Player of the Year by his fellow professionals on the DP World Tour.
