Mumbai, March 13 (NationPress) The Indian badminton squad has been placed in Group D alongside Indonesia, Denmark, and England for the BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2025, scheduled to take place in Xiamen, China, from April 27 to May 4, according to the draw revealed on Thursday.
A total of 16 teams will compete in the 19th edition of the Sudirman Cup. During the draw, four seeded teams were allocated to different groups, with the defending champions and hosts, China, being the top seeds in Group A.
The host nation, China, which is also the reigning champion, finds itself in Group A alongside Thailand, Hong Kong-China, and Algeria, whereas South Korea will face Chinese Taipei, Canada, and the Czech Republic in Group B. Group C consists of Japan, Malaysia, France, and Australia, while Indonesia will compete against Denmark, India, and England in Group D.
