New Delhi, Feb 5 (NationPress) The current world champion Samrat Rana and World Cup titleholder Suruchi Singh teamed up to secure a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event, while India showcased its supremacy at the Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship in New Delhi 2026, amassing a total of 10 gold medals after just two days of events.
Rashmika Sahgal, a southpaw, along with Vanshika Chaudhary delivered impressive performances in the 10m air pistol women junior category, followed closely by Priyanshi Purva and Chahek Kohla in the youth segment, contributing to a stellar tally of 10 golds, five silvers, and one bronze for India. They stood significantly ahead of Uzbekistan, which secured second place with three golds.
