"India's cricketing prowess shines brightly. I am immensely proud of our U-19 team for bringing home the World Cup. Throughout the tournament, the team exhibited remarkable skill. This victory will undoubtedly motivate numerous young athletes as well. Best of luck to the players in their future endeavors," Modi shared on X.

During their innings, India opted to bat first but faced an early setback with Aaron George dismissed for just 9 runs. Nevertheless, Sooryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre established a formidable partnership, amassing 142 runs, with Mhatre scoring 53 runs off 51 balls.
