New Delhi, Dec 4 (NationPress) The Indian Deaf Cricket Team is set to embark on a tour of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a three-match bilateral T20 series against the local deaf cricket team from December 11 to 13, 2025. The first match will kick off on December 11, with the subsequent games taking place on December 12 and 13.
For this tour, Mohammad Imran has been appointed as the fitness trainer for the Indian squad. Imran hails from Dhaneepur in Gonda district, Uttar Pradesh, and is affiliated with the Delhi Premier League (DPL) as a trainer for the South Delhi team. He has also previously worked as the trainer for the DDCA Under-14 squad.
This series is designed to enhance bilateral relations in deaf cricket and offer competitive exposure to both teams in preparation for future international endeavors.
The Indian Deaf Cricket Team clinched victory in the 3rd Deaf Cricket Asia Cup held in India in 2017, defeating Sri Lanka by a significant margin of 156 runs in the final.
