Bengaluru, Aug 8 (NationPress) The Indian men's hockey squad has officially set off for Australia early Friday from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, as they prepare for a significant four-match series against the home team. This series, scheduled to be held at the Perth Hockey Stadium from August 15 to 21, will be crucial in gearing up for the forthcoming Hero Asia Cup 2025, taking place in Rajgir, Bihar later this month.

The upcoming matches are expected to provide the team with essential competitive exposure against one of the top-ranked sides in the world. This will enable the coaching staff to refine strategies and evaluate player performance ahead of the continental tournament.
