The gold medal tally for India commenced with Minakshi Hooda, who triumphed over Fozilova Farzona with a decisive 5-0 victory in the women's 48 kg final.

"I am incredibly delighted. My heartfelt thanks to my district coach, Vijay Hooda, for his unwavering support. I also extend my gratitude to ITBP, SAI, OGQ, and BFI for shaping my journey. The cheering crowd truly uplifted my spirits and played a crucial role in my gold medal win," Minakshi expressed to the press following her match.

"Despite my initial nerves before the final, the overwhelming presence of home supporters inspired me to secure a 5-0 victory. This has been my best year, and I aim to continue my hard work to bring more pride to my country," she added.
