Jamshedpur, March 5 (NationPress) After an exhilarating comeback victory against East Bengal FC in Kolkata, Jamshedpur FC returns to their home ground, the JRD Tata Sports Complex, this Friday to take on Inter Kashi. They aim to maintain their impressive season start, having achieved three consecutive wins in their initial matches.

Following their remarkable comeback in Kolkata, where they managed to defeat East Bengal, the team is riding a wave of confidence. Despite falling behind 1-0 at halftime, the Men of Steel displayed exceptional resilience in the second half. Captain Steven Eze equalized the score, and substitute Rei Tachikawa netted a decisive goal in the 87th minute, securing all three points for the team.

Head coach Owen Coyle expressed pride in the team’s determination but emphasized the importance of focusing on the upcoming match.

Their performance in Kerala, a notoriously tough venue, was impressive. They possess a champion's mentality from last season, making this another difficult game for us,” he noted.

A significant factor in Jamshedpur’s strong performance has been their defensive discipline, having conceded only one goal across three games. The backline has shown remarkable organization and composure under pressure.

Defender Pratik Chaudhari emphasized the team's collective effort toward their defensive strength. “It boils down to hard work. Our coaching staff has dedicated immense effort to ensure we maintain our defensive structure, both with and without the ball. We stay compact and organized as a unit, and this discipline has resulted in fewer goals conceded and crucial points earned,” he explained.

On the offensive front, the creativity of Madih Talal and the dynamic play of Nikola Stojanovic have enhanced Jamshedpur’s attacking capabilities. Talal’s knack for breaking down defenses and Stojanovic’s movement in attack have led to numerous scoring opportunities this season.
