They achieved emphatic victories against their opponents, securing spots in the quarterfinals.
World junior championships silver medallist Tanvi Sharma triumphed over the 10th seed Devika Sihag with scores of 21-11, 10-21, 21-10. Meanwhile, Tanvi Patri dispatched Parul Choudhary in the women’s singles pre-quarterfinals with a scoreline of 21-14, 21-17.
Next, Tanvi Sharma is set to face Rakshita Sree, who defeated Sneh Lamba 21-13, 21-11, while Patri will take on the seasoned player Aakarshi Kashyap, who eliminated the third seed Anmol Kharb with scores of 21-018, 21-18.
