Mumbai, April 6 (NationPress) The iconic batter Virat Kohli expressed his sentiments regarding the strong connection he shares with his longtime teammate and Indian captain Rohit Sharma, emphasizing that a trust factor has always existed between them, allowing them to depend on one another to secure victories for the team.
Kohli and Rohit are set to face each other again on the field when Royal Challengers Bengaluru takes on the five-time champions Mumbai Indians in a critical match of IPL 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday.
"It seems natural to develop such a bond when you play alongside someone for an extended period and exchange insights about the game. At first, we were learning from each other; our careers were progressing simultaneously, and we shared various queries and discussions.
"There was a significant exchange of ideas, and given our close collaboration in leadership roles, we frequently found ourselves aligned in our thoughts regarding the demands of specific situations or games," stated Kohli in a video shared on RCB’s X account on Sunday.
