La Liga: Titles Aren't Secured in December, Ancelotti Vows Real Madrid Will Intensify Their Efforts

Madrid, Dec 3 (NationPress) Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti has commended his squad for their impressive recovery, securing a 2-0 victory against Getafe over the weekend. He expressed confidence that the team will persist in their title challenge throughout the season's duration.

“I feel very positive, especially when the team performs admirably and contributes despite the obstacles. We are in the fight. No one believes that titles are won in December, but it is essential to stay competitive, and we are doing so, despite the challenges. Once Vini Jr., Camavinga, and Alaba return, our efforts will be even more vigorous,” Ancelotti stated during the press conference.

Real Madrid aims to maintain their winning streak as the La Liga contest has become highly competitive, particularly with FC Barcelona struggling in their last three matches.

There has been considerable discussion regarding whether Kylian Mbappe or Jude Bellingham would assume penalty responsibilities. The French star missed a penalty against Liverpool in the Champions League, leading to Jude successfully converting a spot kick against Getafe.

Ancelotti emphasized that it is up to the pair to decide who takes penalties and praised Mbappe for his selflessness. “Tomorrow, Bellingham and Mbappe will evaluate and determine who is best positioned to take the penalty. This isn’t a matter of contention. The penalty situation against Getafe can be viewed in two lights. Some perceive it as a sign of uncertainty, while we see it as a demonstration of responsibility and selflessness. These qualities are crucial for us.

“The selflessness of such a gifted player like Mbappe is something we deeply appreciate because it indicates that someone who could be the greatest talent in football is prioritizing the team’s needs. It’s not a lack of bravery but a significant gesture towards his teammates. Everyone in the club acknowledges it as an act of selflessness, which demonstrates he is on the right track. I hold this in high regard,” he concluded.
