Legend 90 League Founder Declares It a 'Tribute to Cricket's Heritage'

Delhi, Jan 10 (NationPress) The Legend 90 League, commencing on February 6, aims to reintroduce legendary players to the pitch through an exciting 90-ball format. Esteemed former cricketers such as Harbhajan Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Moeen Ali, Ross Taylor, and Martin Guptill will be part of this League.

According to the League's founder Shivain Sharma, this event serves as an ideal opportunity for fans to witness their beloved cricketers competing once again, with six franchises battling for victory.

"The Legend 90 League is not merely about reuniting cricket legends on the field; it’s about offering fans the chance to watch their cherished former players in action again. This league is crafted to provide a platform for athletes who may not currently be in the international limelight to exhibit their talents alongside cricketing icons," stated Sharma.

"Our goal is to motivate upcoming generations and remind fans of the enduring essence of the sport. Legend 90 transcends a traditional tournament—it’s a tribute to cricket’s legacy, blending nostalgia with intense competition and entertainment," he elaborated.

The founder also highlighted the distinctive 90-ball format as the league's focal point. "The 90-ball format is the essence of the Legend 90 League, delivering an exhilarating and rapid-fire experience that transforms how cricket is played and enjoyed. This innovative approach not only challenges the strategic capabilities of players but also keeps spectators riveted," he remarked.

Seven franchises—Chhattisgarh Warriors, Haryana Gladiators, Dubai Giants, Gujarat Samp Army, Delhi Royals, Big Boys, and Rajasthan Kings—are set to engage in this groundbreaking 90-ball cricket spectacle.
