Key Takeaways
London, March 27 (NationPress) Tottenham Hotspur Women have secured head coach Martin Ho with a new long-term contract following a promising inaugural season in the Women’s Super League (WSL). The 35-year-old, who joined from Norwegian club SK Brann in July 2025, has quickly made his mark, leading Spurs to a commendable standing in the league.
Currently, Tottenham Hotspur Women are positioned fifth, achieving nine wins from 18 matches. With four games remaining, the squad is only four points away from breaking their previous record of 32 points, set in the 2021-22 season.
They are still in the race for a better finish, trailing Arsenal Women by six points, although Arsenal has two games in hand. The two teams are scheduled to clash at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday.
Prior to his role at Spurs, Ho was an assistant coach with Manchester United Women. His excellent performance was recently acknowledged when he was awarded the WSL Manager of the Month for February, thanks to a series of impressive results from his team.
Upon signing the new deal, Martin Ho expressed, “I’m genuinely honored to extend my tenure at Tottenham Hotspur. I appreciate the Club’s trust and confidence in me. Building something meaningful requires alignment. From my first day, the vision for the Club's direction was clear, and together we have begun to establish solid foundations regarding identity, standards, and our daily operations.”
“What we’re creating is a structure that emphasizes consistency, discipline, and a relentless pursuit of improvement both on and off the field. We aim to be a team characterized by intensity, clarity, and personality, fostering an environment where individuals are nurtured, supported, and held accountable. While we have made strides, we recognize there is much more to achieve.”
“I am wholly dedicated to continuing this journey, ensuring we form a team that thrives on structure, intensity, and control, while representing this Club with fervor and pride,” he added.
