Chennai, Sep 30 (NationPress) Puneri Paltan achieved a remarkable double victory over the Bengal Warriorz, securing a thrilling 49-44 triumph during a high-scoring match in Season 12 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) at the SDAT Multi Purpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai this Tuesday.

Aditya Shinde (18 points) and Pankaj Mohite (10 points) delivered impressive Super 10 performances, leading their team to success, while Devank Dalal accumulated an astounding 25 points, becoming the first player to surpass 150 raid points in PKL 12.

The match commenced with a rapid pace as Aslam Inamdar swiftly earned the first points for Puneri Paltan with his initial raid. Vishal Bhardwaj followed suit with a successful tackle on Devank Dalal, establishing an early advantage for the Season 10 champions. The Bengal Warriorz quickly found their rhythm, with Ashish Malik scoring their first points through a tackle on Aditya Shinde.

Himanshu Narwal contributed further with a two-point raid, but Pankaj Mohite answered back with a two-point raid of his own. As the Paltan seemed ready to dominate, Himanshu and Ashish Malik kept their team in contention, narrowing the gap to 9-7 after the initial ten minutes.

Puneri Paltan soon hit their stride, achieving the first All Out of the match thanks to Abinesh Nadarajan’s tackle on Devank, which widened the score to a five-point lead. Aditya Shinde and Pankaj Mohite executed multiple-point raids, maintaining their dominance, while the Warriorz responded with their captain and Himanshu Narwal closing an exciting first half at 21-18 in favor of the Ajay Thakur-led squad.

The second half kicked off with electrifying energy as Puneri Paltan executed a Super Tackle on Devank. Manprit contributed for the Warriorz with a two-point raid, while Devank built momentum as well. A fierce battle ensued, marked by Aslam Inamdar’s Super Tackle against Devank, who later retaliated with an All Out, bringing the score to 30-27.

A brilliant Super Raid from Pankaj Mohite allowed Puneri Paltan to regain their six-point lead, but the Warriorz remained resilient. Devank Dalal completed his Super 10, reducing the gap to four points as they entered the final quarter.

As the match approached its climax, Aditya Shinde emerged as a key player for Puneri Paltan. He executed a vital Super Raid, earning him a Super 10 and putting his team in a strong position as they achieved their second All Out through Abinesh Nadarajan, expanding their lead to 46-35 with under five minutes remaining.
