PL: Rashford and Zirkzee Shine in Amorim's First League Triumph at Old Trafford

Manchester, Dec 1 (NationPress) The Ruben Amorim era has commenced on a high note as Manchester United dominated Everton with a commanding 4-0 victory at Old Trafford on Sunday, clinching their first league win at home under the new manager.
Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee each found the net twice, providing the team with crucial three points.
The first goal broke through in the 34th minute with an impressive corner routine where Bruno Fernandes delivered a perfectly floated ball to Rashford, who, unmarked at the edge of the box, executed a powerful volley that found its way into the Everton net via a deflection off Jarrad Branthwaite.
This opened the scoring floodgates as just seven minutes later, Amad intercepted the ball from Branthwaite and passed it to Bruno, who then set up Zirkzee to double the lead.
United continued to press, scoring their third just a minute into the second half, with Amad once again causing trouble by winning the ball in a dangerous area. Rashford capitalized on his speed to score at Pickford's near post.
Zirkzee capped off the scoring with a right-footed shot from the center of the box, following a setup by Diallo, to seal the emphatic 4-0 victory.
However, it’s not all positive news for Amorim as he will be without Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo, both of whom received their fifth yellow card this season, leading to their suspension for the upcoming match against Arsenal on Thursday.
