New Delhi, Jan 25 (NationPress) Sainyam from Chandigarh and Gaurav Kumar of Uttar Pradesh emerged victorious in the finals of the women's and men's 10m Air Pistol Trial 2 as the National Selection Trials 1 & 2 wrapped up at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range.
The World Cup Final silver medallist Sainyam showcased her exceptional skills, clinching the top position in the finals with an impressive final score of 243.1, which is 5.4 points ahead of Rhythm Sangwan, who secured second place with 237.7. Meenu Pathak consistently performed well, finishing in the top three with a score of 218.5.
In the earlier qualification rounds, Suruchi Singh led with a remarkable score of 587-31x but ended up in eighth place in the finals. Palak took second in qualification with 579-16x and scored 178.2 in the finals, finishing fifth.
The seasoned Shwetha Singh qualified third with 578-18x but finished sixth in the finals. Meenu Pathak recorded 577-12x in qualification, while Priya Muralidhar achieved 576-16x.
