The day kicked off with a thrilling encounter between Hockey Bengal and Goans Hockey, where both teams fought hard during the first half. The deadlock was broken in the third quarter when Munna Kumar Singh (37') netted a penalty corner, marking the start of Hockey Bengal's scoring.
