Mumbai, June 3 (NationPress) ARCS Andheri, featuring icon player Shivam Dube, is set to face off against SoBo Mumbai Falcons in the inaugural match of the 2025 T20 Mumbai League Season 3 at the DY Patil Stadium on Wednesday. The league will showcase eight energetic teams competing in a total of 23 thrilling matches over nine days from June 4 to June 12, ensuring high-quality cricket and memorable experiences.

Established in 2018 to discover and cultivate a diverse array of cricketing talent, the T20 Mumbai League is recognized as one of India’s premier franchise-based domestic T20 tournaments. It has served as a launchpad for several emerging stars, including Shivam Dube, Tushar Deshpande, and Shams Mulani, who have since made their mark on larger platforms.

After a six-year hiatus, the league is returning with an electrifying lineup that includes international stars such as Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube, and Prithvi Shaw, alongside Mumbai’s most promising young talents like Musheer Khan, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Atharva Ankolekar.

The president of the Mumbai Cricket Association, Ajinkya Naik, remarked, “The T20 Mumbai League has been a springboard for many youngsters from Mumbai, sparking countless dreams and ambitions. Although we are only in our third edition, our vision has been to drive transformative changes in how we perceive local leagues as catalysts for aspirations on the global stage. The Mumbai stars who are now representing the national team are a testament to this vision.”

On the same day, another match will take place at the same venue, where Triumph Knights Mumbai North East, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, will challenge the Eagle Thane Strikers at 5:30 PM.

Meanwhile, at the Wankhede Stadium, cricket enthusiasts can anticipate exhilarating matches on the opening day, starting with Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs against Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals at 2:30 PM, followed by a highly anticipated clash between Bandra Blasters and North Mumbai Panthers, featuring icon player Prithvi Shaw, at 7:30 PM.

The semifinals and finals are scheduled to take place at the Wankhede Stadium on June 10 and 12, respectively.
