Mumbai, April 14 (NationPress) The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has recorded an astonishing number of registrations for the eagerly awaited third season of the T20 Mumbai League, with over 2800 players signing up for the tournament, which is slated to kick off in May.

This remarkable turnout not only emphasizes the city's profound cricket heritage but also highlights the importance of the T20 Mumbai League as a venue for aspiring cricketers to display their skills.

Hosted by the MCA, the T20 Mumbai League stands out as one of India's leading domestic franchise-based T20 competitions. Since its launch in 2018, the league has acted as a springboard for emerging talent, with players such as Shivam Dube, Tushar Deshpande, and Shams Mulani making notable advancements in their careers following outstanding performances in earlier editions.

With registrations pouring in from all parts of the city, the third season is poised to rekindle Mumbai's cricket fervor with a grand return after six years. Eligible players from the registration pool will be chosen for the upcoming player auction.
