The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on Friday, 15 May unveiled the full fixture list for Season 4 of the T20 Mumbai League and the inaugural T20 Mumbai Women's League, with 30 matches set to light up the Wankhede Stadium from 1 June to 13 June. The two-week festival marks a landmark moment for Mumbai cricket — the women's game gets its own dedicated franchise platform for the first time.

Opening Day and Key Fixtures

The tournament kicks off with a high-voltage double-header on 1 June. The afternoon match will see the Bandra Blasters, featuring Yashasvi Jaiswal, square off against the Eagle Thane Strikers led by Shardul Thakur. Come evening, Tushar Deshpande's Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals will face Sarfaraz Khan's Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs.

The men's competition fields eight teams, each playing five league-stage matches. The top four sides advance to semi-finals on 11 June, with the final scheduled for 13 June at 7 PM. Men's league matches will be held at 2 PM and 7 PM daily.

Inaugural Women's League

The T20 Mumbai Women's League bowls off on 2 June, featuring three franchises — SoBo Mumbai Falcons, Thane Sky Risers, and Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs. The opening contest will pit Saima Thakor-led Thane Sky Risers against Sayali Satghare's SoBo Mumbai Falcons.

Each women's team plays four league-stage matches, with the top two sides meeting in the final on 13 June at 2 PM. Women's matches are slated for a 9:30 AM start — a morning window that could draw new audiences to the ground.

Star Power on Show

The men's draw is headlined by India internationals including Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Shardul Thakur, and Tushar Deshpande. Emerging names such as Ayush Mhatre, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Musheer Khan, Suryansh Shedge, and Abhigyan Kundu will also feature, underlining the league's dual mandate of elite competition and talent development.

On the women's side, the spotlight falls on Sayali Satghare, Saima Thakor, Humairaa Kaazi, teenage sensation Ira Jadhav, Simran Shaikh, Sanika Chalke, and Vrushali Bhagat.

Since its launch in 2018, the T20 Mumbai League has established itself as one of India's premier domestic franchise T20 competitions, serving as a springboard for several players who have since graduated to the IPL and the national side. The addition of the women's league is widely seen as a structural step toward building a more inclusive cricketing ecosystem in Mumbai — a city that has produced more India cricketers than any other.

With the Wankhede Stadium as the sole venue and a packed 13-day schedule, all eyes will be on whether this edition cements the league's reputation as a genuine feeder pipeline — and whether the women's debut draws the crowds it deserves.
