Mumbai, Oct 2 (NationPress) In a significant uplift for India's tennis landscape, the Tennis Premier League (TPL) has unveiled the return of the TPL Race to Gold Masters Tournaments 2025. This premier competition aims to draw the finest young tennis talent from across the nation and will unfold in three distinct phases throughout India.
The TPL Race to Gold Masters is set to kick off with the North Zone event in New Delhi on November 15 and 16, 2025, hosted at the DLTA Stadium. Following this, the tournament will move to Ahmedabad in Gujarat on November 22 and 23, 2025, taking place at the Gujarat University Tennis Stadium. Lastly, the series will wrap up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on November 29 and 30, 2025, at the MSLTA Stadium.
These three Masters events are being conducted in collaboration with their respective state tennis associations, including the Gujarat State Tennis Association (GSTA), Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA), and Haryana Tennis Association (HTA). The TPL Race to Gold Masters offers a unique platform for burgeoning players to display their talents and gain national recognition through TPL's innovative 25-point format.
Competitors can earn scholarships worth ₹75,000, with top-ranked players from each Race to Gold Masters Zone in categories like U10 Boys & Girls, U12 Boys & Girls, U14 Boys & Girls, and Men’s & Women’s Open being awarded. The champions will be celebrated live on television during the upcoming seventh season of the Tennis Premier League, scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad from December 9 to 14, highlighting their achievements on one of India’s most prominent tennis platforms.
Winners will also have the opportunity to meet Indian tennis legends Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna and compete against top players in TPL Season 7, including Luciano Darderi, Arthur Rinderknech, Corentin Moutet, Alexandre Muller, and Shrivalli Bhamidipaty.
