Bangkok, March 6 (NationPress) The organisers of the Thailand Tennis Masters 2026 revealed the tournament's jerseys at a special launch event on Friday, uniting international athletes while emphasizing the nation’s commitment to boosting sports tourism.
The jersey unveiling occurred at the NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard, where Nannaphat Nantasuk, a member of the executive committee of the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand, and Sachin Tomar, chairman of Red Talent Group, formally introduced this global tennis event.
The ceremony was also graced by young Thai talents, Credit Chaiyarin, affectionately known as 'Jedi', and Theerapat Khantiveerawat, also referred to as 'Winner'.
A major highlight was the presentation of the tournament jerseys by internationally acclaimed tennis players, including Kazakhstan’s Grigoriy Lomakin.
This initiative strives to enhance Thailand’s sports tourism and promote four key tourist destinations through the tournament.
Each participating club will symbolize one of Thailand’s famous tourism cities: Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, and Hua Hin, showcasing their distinct charm to tennis enthusiasts worldwide.
The event is organised by the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage in collaboration with Red Talent Group and Elan Event and Design.
During the launch, Sachin Tomar expressed that the tournament aims to leverage tennis as a platform for global promotion of Thailand.
“Our primary objective is to harness tennis as a means of showcasing Thailand's tourism through sports. By branding the event as ‘Thailand Tennis Masters,’ we aim to highlight the country’s rich culture, attractive destinations, and sporting capabilities to a global audience,” he stated.
The Thailand Tennis Masters 2026 is set to take place from April 13 to April 20 at the Nonthaburi Tennis Centre. The tournament will feature 16 international players competing in 31 matches across eight days.
Matches will be broadcast worldwide through various platforms, including the European sports network Eurosport, ensuring the event reaches tennis fans globally while positioning sports as a soft-power tool to attract tourists and invigorate Thailand’s economy.
