Ludhiana (Punjab), Nov 4 (NationPress) The Group F matches of the 8th Edition of the Nagesh Trophy Men’s National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2025 continued on Tuesday at the Punjab Agricultural University Ground, Ludhiana, showcasing two closely-fought contests.
In the day's opening match, Assam narrowly defeated Tripura by just two runs in a heart-stopping finish. After batting first, Assam scored 125/6 in 20 overs, then utilized disciplined bowling to limit Tripura to 123/8, securing a tight victory.
Amlanjyoti Talukdar was a standout performer for Assam, achieving three vital wickets and earning the Player of the Match title.
The second match of the day saw Chhattisgarh triumph over Punjab by six wickets. Punjab set a challenging total of 151/5 in 20 overs, but Chhattisgarh successfully chased it down with just three balls remaining.

A total of 28 teams, comprising 24 state teams, 3 union territory teams, and an Indian Railways team represented by visually impaired employees, are competing in this T20 tournament, which commenced recently.
The teams are organized into six groups according to last year’s rankings, with the first four groups featuring five teams each and the final two groups containing four teams.
