New Delhi, Jan 21 (NationPress) Tilottama Sen showcased her remarkable prowess at the season's outset, clinching consecutive victories in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions for women during the National Selection Trials for Group A shooters at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range near New Delhi on Wednesday.

Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, who secured third place in T1 on Tuesday, rose to the top in T2 of the men’s 50m Rifle 3P, while Manu Bhaker dominated the T1 finals in the 25m Pistol Women event, achieving a decisive victory.

Tilottama maintained her winning streak in the 50m Rifle 3P event with a focused display in today's finals, scoring 361.5 after 35 shots, 3.1 points ahead of Ayushi Podder from Railways, who finished with 358.4. Her teammate Surabhi Bharadwaj Rapole took third with 348.3.

Manini Kaushik, finishing third in T1, claimed fourth place with 336.3, followed by Ashi Chouksey (326.4), Nupur Kumrawat (315.6), Anjum Moudgil (305.0), and Vidarsa K. Vinod (302.8) in the final lineup.

In the men’s T2, Aishwary achieved a comfortable victory, scoring 359.7 in the final. Swapnil Kusale, a bronze medallist from Paris, came in second with 357.7, while former 10m World Champion Rudraankksh Patil secured third with 347.5.

T1 winner Niraj Kumar placed fourth with 336.3. Finalists included Akshil Sheoran (326.5), Adriyan Karmakar (314.6), Nishan Budha (303.2), and Chain Singh (302.0).

Manu Bhaker excelled in the 25m Pistol event, finishing the T1 finals with a score of 37, which was six points ahead of Vibhuti Bhatia from Haryana, who scored 31. Divya T.S from Karnataka secured third place with 28.

Tejaswani Singh came fourth with 26 after being eliminated in the shootout with Vibhuti. Other finalists included Rahi Sarnobat (22), Chinki Yadav (17), and Rhythm Sangwan (12). Esha Singh did not participate in the finals despite qualifying in the top eight.

The 10m Air Rifle T1 finals for both men and women are set to take place on Thursday, along with the T2 finals of 25m Rapid Fire Pistol for men.
