New Delhi, Aug 13 (NationPress) The much-anticipated Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) season 2 is gearing up to commence on December 25, heralding the revival of a professional platform for the elite kabaddi players of Uttar Pradesh.

This season will feature around 64 matches over a span of 17 days, all hosted in Noida. The tournament will kick off with a league phase, followed by playoffs, where every participant will be selected through an auction process.

This landmark event builds on the success of the inaugural UPKL season, which captivated more than 30 million TV viewers as reported by BARC India and amassed over 300 million digital impressions, largely fueled by audiences from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Season 2 is anticipated to heighten the excitement with the introduction of new franchises, an increased number of matches, and enhanced fan interaction.

Following the thrilling first season that showcased remarkable stars such as Arjun Deshwal, Vinay Tewatiya, Shubham Kumar, Sahul Kumar, Abhishek Thakur, Mohd Aman, Nitin Panwer, Abhijeet Malik, and Arpit Sroha, this season is set to unveil top-notch talent and deliver even more exhilarating kabaddi action and intense rivalries.
