Earlier this month, Vaibhav delivered a stellar performance in the Under-19 World Cup 2026 final against England, where he scored an astonishing century in just 55 balls, marking the fastest hundred ever achieved in an Under-19 World Cup final.
The talented youngster also broke the record for the most sixes in a single Under-19 World Cup innings, hitting 15 sixes to surpass the previous record of 12 held by Australia’s Michael Hill.
Vaibhav’s remarkable innings of 175 off 80 balls came at an impressive strike rate of 218.75, featuring 15 fours and 15 sixes, with 150 runs coming from boundaries.
