Delhi, Oct 28 (NationPress) The countdown begins for a remarkable boxing event as the World Boxing Cup Finals 2025 is set to take place at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida from November 14 to 21. This prestigious tournament will showcase over 140 elite boxers from 18 nations, featuring three Olympic medalists.
India will present a formidable 20-member team, comprising both experienced pugilists and past medalists from various World Boxing competitions.
The Indian squad includes ten men and ten women, highlighted by former World Champion Nikhat Zareen (51kg), reigning World Champions Jaismine Lamboria (57kg) and Minakshi (48kg), two-time Asian Champion Pooja Rani (80kg), former World Champion Saweety Boora (75kg), and World Championship silver medalist Nupur Sheoran (80+kg). The men's team features a dynamic blend of youth and experience, led by medalists from previous World Boxing Cup stages this season, Hitesh (70kg) and Abhinash Jamwal (65kg).
The event will also host three Paris Olympic medalists—Aeji Im from South Korea and Wu Shih-Yi and Chen Nien-Chin from Chinese Taipei—alongside numerous World Boxing Championships and World Cup gold medalists from around the globe.

The Indian lineup also features Jadumani Singh (50kg), Pawan Bartwal (55kg), Sachin (60kg), Sumit (75kg), Lakshya Chahar (80kg), Jugnoo (85kg), Naveen Kumar (90kg), and Narender (90+kg) in the men’s category, along with Preeti (54kg), Parveen (60kg), Neeraj Phogat (65kg), and Arundhati Choudhary (70kg) in the women’s category.
The World Boxing Cup Finals will conclude the annual global series, where the season’s top-ranked athletes will compete across ten weight classes for the highly coveted World Boxing Cup trophy.
