Mumbai, April 9 (NationPress) The 2025 Equestrian season commenced with an exhilarating display of talent by Yashaan Khambatta from The Amateur Riders’ Club (ARC), Mumbai. Over three days during The Surge Equestrian League held in Bengaluru from April 4 to 6, he achieved an impressive tally of five medals. The event, hosted at Surge Stables, attracted top riders from numerous clubs across India, who showcased their remarkable skills in an arena that meets international standards.

Representing ARC, Yashaan exhibited remarkable consistency and skill in the Show Jumping discipline, securing one gold, two silver, and two bronze medals riding his horses Lord Stakkolensky and Dolce Vita.

It all began on Day 1 of the Big Tour, where Yashaan Khambatta took gold on Lord Stakkolensky in the 1.25m Show Jumping category. Silver went to Surya Aditya riding Calimero 673, while Jaiveer Varma with Looney On Top secured third place.

On Day 2, Khambatta earned a bronze medal while Affan Ahmed riding Lucifer Van De Hamel claimed gold and Samarth Sreeharsha with Volbeat took silver. In the 1.30m Show Jumping, Khambatta, aboard Lord Stakkolensky, achieved another bronze, with Sresht Mantena riding Apollo winning gold and Jaiveer Varma again taking silver.

On the final day in the Medium Tour, Thanush Gowda riding Milan won the gold, while Yashaan Khambatta on Dolce Vita secured silver. Sresht Mantena riding Dancing Queen took home the bronze medal for this category.

In the Big Tour's Day 3, Jaiveer Varma riding Looney On Top clinched gold, with Yashaan Khambatta aboard Lord Stakkolensky taking silver and Surya Aditya on Calimero winning bronze, as informed by ARC in a release on Wednesday.
