Haridwar (Uttarakhand), March 6 (NationPress) The Yuva All Stars Kabaddi Championship commenced at the Vandana Kataria Indoor Stadium in Haridwar, showcasing four fiercely contested matches on the inaugural day on Thursday.

The second match featured the championship's first tie, as the UP Falcons and Junior Steelers battled to an electrifying 37-37 draw. The Steelers were in control during the first half, but the Falcons launched a remarkable comeback, leading by four points as the final minute approached. However, a critical last-raid tackle on Arjun Sirohi by Jasbir Dahiya led to an all-out, resulting in a tie for the Steelers. Kunal Bhati was exceptional for the Falcons with 13 raid points, while Mayank Saini shone for the Steelers with 17 raid points.

In the third encounter, Warriorz K.C. narrowly defeated the Sonipat Spartans 39-37 in a thrilling match. The Spartans held the lead at halftime, but the Warriorz reversed fortunes in the last 10 minutes to claim a two-point victory. In December 2024 and January 2025, the 11th edition of Yuva Kabaddi Series (YKS) took place, with six teams qualifying for the upcoming Yuva All Stars Championship 2025.
