Yuva Kabaddi Series: Palani Tuskers Continue Winning Streak; Murthal Magnets Face Challenges

Coimbatore, Jan 6 (NationPress) The Kurukshetra Warriors, Karpagam Raiders, Chennai Tamizhans, and Palani Tuskers triumphed in their respective matches during the 11th Yuva Kabaddi Series - Division 1 at the Karpagam Academy of Higher Education on Monday. The day's matches were filled with both excitement and commanding performances. The Palani Tuskers prolonged their unbeaten streak, while the Murthal Magnets and Jaipur Thunders encountered their fourth consecutive defeats.
The first match saw the Kurukshetra Warriors dominate the Jaipur Thunders with a decisive 47-26 win. Ankit Dahiya spearheaded the Warriors with 14 raid points, complemented by Deepanshu Khatri, who showcased his defensive skills with seven tackle points. Despite Nakul Saini scoring nine points for Jaipur, the lack of team support led to their fourth loss in a row.
In the second match, the Karpagam Raiders narrowly defeated the Aravalli Arrows in a thrilling 33-31 contest. Gajenthiramoorthi Murugesan excelled with nine raid points and three tackle points, receiving valuable assistance from his teammates. Anuj Yadav and Vishnu Sharma put up a strong performance for the Arrows, but their defensive shortcomings ultimately cost them the match.
The third game featured the Chennai Tamizhans handing the Murthal Magnets a heavy 37-18 defeat, marking the Magnets' fourth consecutive loss. Stanly Packiaraj achieved a Super 10 for Chennai, while Purushothaman Palanivelu registered a High 5. Sahil Chhoker managed four tackle points for the Magnets, but his team's overall performance fell short.
The day concluded with a nail-biting encounter between the undefeated Palani Tuskers and the determined Sonipat Spartans, where the Tuskers narrowly secured a 33-31 victory. Deepak Sankar was remarkable in defense, claiming seven tackle points, while Vishva Asalavan contributed with seven raid points and an additional tackle point. Although Naveen Sharma recorded a High 5 and received help from Rahul Ahri, the Spartans fell short due to insufficient contributions from their raiders.
