Mumbai, July 22 (NationPress) Actor Abhishek Nigam has been cast as the lead in the upcoming inspiring series, "Shankar – The Revolutionary Man".
In a recent exclusive dialogue with IANS, Nigam was questioned whether the series would assist viewers in understanding the true essence of religion.
He responded, "Absolutely, that’s actually the essence of the show."

When inquired about his preparation for the role, Nigam revealed that he has been readying himself to portray the revered saint since January of this year.
"We are conducting extensive research because the more we comprehend the individual behind this character, the more authentically we can portray him. We’re immersed in gathering knowledge, delving deeply into research, and absorbing everything he imparted to the world. This understanding is what will render our performance genuine," Nigam stated.
Discussing the series, he expressed his belief that viewers will experience an uncanny sense of familiarity while watching it. "It’s something internal. It already resides within you. Engaging with it might help you identify that, which could alter your worldview. The twist, if there is one, lies within you," he added.
