Itanagar, Feb 9 (NationPress) The Indian Army has officially initiated ‘Mission Krishiveer’ on Monday, designed to enhance the farm-to-force connection in the East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, according to officials.

Defence spokesperson Lt Col Mahendra Rawat stated that the Spearhead Division of the Spear Corps introduced this initiative during an event at the Sigar Military Station, in partnership with the Army Service Corps.

Attending the launch were Mebo Assembly constituency MLA Oken Tayeng, along with senior military officials, civil administration representatives, and local agricultural producers.

This initiative aims to create a structured “farm-to-force” supply chain, connecting local farmers directly with military units stationed in the area.
