New Delhi, April 21 (NationPress) As we approach the anniversary of the Pahalgam terror incident, the Indian Army has once again emphasized its unwavering dedication to delivering justice and issued a stern warning about a resolute reaction should the “boundaries of humanity” be violated.

In a powerful message shared on its X account, the Indian Army declared, “When boundaries of humanity are crossed, the response is decisive. Justice is served. India stands united.”

This statement was complemented by a striking visual featuring the phrase “Some boundaries should never be crossed,” along with a map of India adorned with red ‘sindoor’ powder, representing the Army’s determined actions against terrorists under 'Operation Sindoor'.

The accompanying image proclaimed, “India does not forget,” emphasizing the nation’s solidarity and fortitude.

The tragic Pahalgam attack occurred on April 22, 2025, resulting in the deaths of 26 individuals in a heinous assault targeting tourists. This atrocity was executed by The Resistance Front, a faction of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The assailants specifically identified their victims by inquiring about their religion, compelling them to recite the Islamic ‘kalima’ to pinpoint non-Muslims. Among the deceased were 25 tourists and a local pony ride operator who attempted to shield the visitors.

Many victims were newlyweds, with several being shot at close range before their families.

In retaliation, the Indian armed forces initiated 'Operation Sindoor' on May 6 and 7, executing what officials characterized as a targeted, measured, and non-escalatory military operation aimed at high-value terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.

Subsequent to the operation, Pakistan engaged in drone activity and shelling over the ensuing week, aiming at civilian areas, religious sites, and schools.

India then launched counter-strikes, including assaults on radar installations in Lahore and facilities near Gujranwala.

After incurring significant losses, Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations contacted his Indian counterpart, seeking to halt military engagements. This communication resulted in a ceasefire agreement between the two nations on May 10, 2025.

Despite the ceasefire, attempts involving swarms of UAVs and small drones infiltrating Indian civilian and military territories persisted. These incursions were intercepted, and the Indian armed forces maintained a robust response, empowering field commanders to take necessary measures in response to any violations.

'Operation Sindoor' showcased India’s military and strategic prowess, integrating both military and non-military strategies.

The operation effectively neutralized terrorist threats, deterred further hostility, and reinforced India’s zero-tolerance stance against terrorism while exercising strategic restraint.
