The inaugural ODI will take place on September 14, with the subsequent matches scheduled for September 17 and 20. All three games will be hosted at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium.
The team, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, will kick off their preparations for the World Cup with a white-ball series against England, commencing on June 28. India is set to compete against England in five T20Is and three ODIs before facing Australia in September.
Additionally, the BCCI has revealed that the India A men's team will welcome Australia and South Africa for two multi-format series beginning in late September. The matches against Australia will be held in Lucknow for the multi-day games, while Kanpur will host three limited-overs encounters.
Significantly, the BCCI’s newly launched Centre of Excellence will be the venue for the two multi-day matches in the South Africa series, marking a momentous occasion as the first major matches will be conducted there. The three limited-overs matches between India A and South Africa A will take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The senior men's South African team will also tour India starting November 14, participating in a comprehensive tour that includes two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.
Before the critical five-match Test series against England, the India A team, led by Abhimanyu Easwaran, will engage in two first-class matches against the England Lions at Canterbury and Northampton on June 2 and June 9, respectively. The tour will culminate with an intra-squad match featuring the senior team led by Shubman Gill.
