New Delhi, Dec 8 (NationPress) The city of Bengaluru in Karnataka has ascended to the 16th position in an evaluation of prominent global technology hubs, marking a milestone as the first Indian city to enter the top 30. This development reflects a growing worldwide interest in Asian markets, according to a report released on Monday.
According to the real estate advisory firm Savills India, "While San Francisco and New York maintain their status as the world’s leading tech cities, Bengaluru’s emergence as India’s top technology center is gaining traction amid increasing global attention on Asian markets."
Recognized as India’s 'Silicon Valley,' Bengaluru continues to cultivate its extensive talent pool and robust tech ecosystems, establishing itself as a crucial player to observe.
Arvind Nandan, Managing Director of Research & Consulting at Savills India, noted, “Cities that provide a diverse blend of business prospects, cultural richness, and skilled labor are at the forefront of tech innovation. Bengaluru, with its vast talent pool and developing infrastructure, holds the promise to further enhance its standing in the global tech landscape as companies look for thriving hubs beyond traditional Western cities.”
