New Delhi, Sep 28 (NationPress) BJP leader Amit Malviya on Sunday criticized the Congress for alleged corruption in Karnataka, asserting that the ruling party’s vow to provide transparent governance has turned out to be empty.
Sharing a digital news report on Karnataka contractors accusing the Congress government of corruption, Malviya posted on X: “Recall the false rate card Congress distributed before the Karnataka elections, claiming a 40 percent commission under BJP? They had no evidence, yet people believed those fabrications and voted for them. Now the truth is revealed, and this time it’s official and documented.”
The BJP’s Information Technology cell chief remarked: “The Karnataka State Contractors Association (KSCA), in a letter dated September 25, has informed CM Siddaramaiah that corruption in numerous departments under the ruling Congress has actually increased compared to the prior BJP administration. So much for Congress’ grand claims of corruption-free governance!”
Earlier this month, Malviya welcomed a US decision to investigate billionaire George Soros for inciting protests, suggesting that the Opposition and their extended network may also come under examination alongside operatives connected to the controversial billionaire.
This is not the first instance of Malviya attempting to connect Opposition leaders to Soros. In June, the BJP leader accused Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi of adhering to George Soros' strategies to create electoral chaos in India.
Focusing on Opposition leaders reportedly imitating Soros’ methods and benefiting from his funding network, the BJP leader stated in a post on X: “Initial indications suggest the investigation could extend to networks associated with foreign financing — including operatives linked to Soros in India.”
“If this holds true, it implies key figures in the Opposition and their extended ecosystem may face scrutiny. They have been instigating disturbances in India for the past 11 years — spreading discord and undermining stability. If this probe follows the evidence, their disruption campaign will falter. Let the truth emerge,” Malviya added.
The BJP leader also shared a social media post claiming that President Donald Trump stated on Friday that his administration would investigate billionaire George Soros and his family members for potential racketeering charges connected to protests associated with unrest nationwide.
