Vijayendra, along with Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly R. Ashoka, voiced their optimism about replicating this success in the forthcoming Bengaluru civic elections.
Opposition leader Ashoka remarked: “Following the extraordinary success in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the BJP–Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) coalition has once again raised a triumphant banner in the elections for significant urban local bodies in Maharashtra, including the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Pune, Nagpur, and all major municipal corporations across the state.
